With the Larson family since 1998, we live in Olympia, Steamboat Island area, and my wife Laurie works at Griffin School. We have a daughter that is an Ensign in the United State Navy and is current deployed in the Middle East. Our son still lives at home is attending the local community college. I drive a Tdi Touareg and my wife leases a Toyota Rav 4. We have an acre, which is a mini farm.. Pigmy goats, chickens, dogs and cats.
We enjoy camping and go to Lake Chelan every year with our extended family. Brandon and I enjoy motorcycling and video games, he always beats me at games!

A lifelong Volkswagen fan, I got my first VW at the age of 15. I started working at a small VW independent shop in Auburn WA in 1992 as the shop helper, basically cleaning, sweeping the floors and running errands. In a matter of 4 years I had worked through every position in the store, tech, parts sales, service consulting and learning machine work under the shop owner who was a retired Boeing machinist. After the store closed I worked at another independent shop before starting with the Larson family in 1999. I spent many years as a parts consultant and was promoted to manager in 2008. I have been Volkswagen Master Certified since 2005 and was one of the top 5 performing VW parts managers in the western US in 2010. I currently live in Bremerton WA with my wife and our 3 kids. I drive a 2004 Volkswagen Passat 4motion daily, and on the weekends I can be found tinkering on one of my 3 classic VW’s, a 1957 oval window beetle, 1962 beetle, and a turbo powered 1964 drag bug.

My father worked at the VW New Stanton plant in the 1980s. Growing up, we always had Volkswagens. I specifically remember my dad's 1988 Scirocco 16V. Occasionally, he would let me shift the gears while he drove, and ever since I was hooked on Volkswagens. I've owned three VWs. My first was a 1987 Golf Wolfsburg handed down from my grandmother. When I joined the Marines in 2004, I bought my first GTI. Recently, I traded it in for a 2013 GTI which I love even more. I live in Olympia and enjoy driving, car cruising with fellow VW enthusiasts, hiking, writing, science, and technology.
